Refund and Returns
Overview
Our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery. After 30 days, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.
To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all packaging, tags, and labels intact. Proof of purchase is required. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can issue return authorization and shipping instructions.
Non-Returnable Items
Wine & Alcohol
All wine and alcoholic beverage sales are final due to alcohol regulations. Exceptions may be made only if the wine arrives damaged or broken, is clearly defective (corked, spoiled, or undrinkable), or if we shipped the wrong product.
Damage or defect claims must be submitted within seven days of delivery and must include photos of the shipping label, packaging, and item condition. Approved claims may receive a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and do not expire.
Food & Perishables
All food and consumable items are non-returnable, including cheese, charcuterie, chocolates, crackers, oils, preserves, and other perishables. These items may be exchanged during the same visit if unopened—please speak with your server or sales staff.
Returnable Items
Merchandise & Accessories
Merchandise may be returned within 30 days if unused, unworn, and in original condition with all packaging, tags, and labels intact. Items must show no signs of wear, stains, odors, or damage.
Vintage & Collectible Items
Vintage and collectible items are sold as-is, with wear and patina considered part of their character. All sales of these items are final once they leave the property. Please review carefully before purchasing. If the item is intended as a gift, let us know at checkout so we can issue an exchange receipt.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not available for items returned after 30 days; items without proof of purchase or authorization; items not in original condition (unless due to our error); items showing signs of use, alteration, or misuse; sale, clearance, or final sale items; vintage collectibles; or damage caused after delivery.
How to Request a Return
Email refunds@ldwinery.com within 30 days of delivery and include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason for the return, and photos if the item is damaged or defective.
We will respond within one to three business days with authorization, return instructions, and a prepaid shipping label if applicable. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within five to ten business days after we receive and inspect the return. You will receive email confirmation at each step. Credit card refunds may take an additional five to seven business days to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Refunds include the purchase price and applicable taxes. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. If return shipping is paid by you, that cost will be deducted from the refund.
Sale Items
Drunk purchases are a thing – we get it. Sale, clearance, and final sale items may only be returned during the same visit and must be brought to the counter before leaving. All sale item purchases are final once you leave the property or after two hours, whichever comes first.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different size, color, or item, please return the original purchase and place a new order. Defective or damaged items will be replaced with the same item at no cost.
Shipping Returns
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insurance for items valued over $50. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Wine-Specific Damage Claims
Broken, corked, defective, or temperature-damaged wine must be reported within seven days of delivery or opening. Please retain all packaging and provide photos when submitting a claim. Replacement or store credit will be offered when approved.
